The essentials you must have in your toiletry bag if you travel to the snow
Snowy spells are exciting, fun and much-anticipated. But they can also wreak havoc on your facial skin if you're not careful. Once you've had some experience, you know that there are few external aggressions more damaging than icy wind and sun on your face while you're skiing down your favourite slope. That's why it's so important to fill your toiletry bag with products that protect you while you're having a great time.
At Gisèle Denis we are experts in taking care of you, that's why we have created two SKI Routines that can help you a lot. Although they are very different from each other, they both contain Lip Sunscreen SPF 30, our remedy to protect the delicate, melanin-free skin of the lips from the sun's rays and keep them moisturised. Shall we take a look?
Ultralight Ski Routine
Ultralight Face Shield SPF 50+ is the star of this routine. It's ultra-light, water-resistant and specifically formulated to protect your skin effectively and absorb immediately, giving you a matte, shine-free finish. Plus, it contains the latest generation of sunscreens to defend against UVA and UVB rays.
In addition, it contains active ingredients that nourish the skin, help to maintain the optimal level of hydration and prevent the formation of spots and wrinkles while minimising premature ageing of the skin due to the effects of the sun.
Mineral Ski Routine
The Mineral Face Protector SPF 50+ is the real backbone of this routine and provides very high sun protection formulated solely with physical filters. It is recommended for daily use on all skin types, especially for the most sensitive areas (moles, scars...) or those intolerant to chemical sunscreens. It is water resistant and leaves a very interesting mattifying effect.
Its formula, with 90.96% of ingredients of natural origin, is respectful of the oceans and protects you from UVA and UVB rays while soothing and preserving sensitive skin from sun damage.however, it may leave a whitish effect on the skin as a result.
